It's annoying because it gets dark 9pm now but 5pm in 6 months. I have a smart outlet that uses the Smart Life app, and it has a schedule but not an automatic dusk till dawn feature. Get specific dusk till dawn fixtures and change them out every few years since they aren't that reliable (as unreliable as motion detector light that I have to change every two years). Use wifi bulbs and hope they have a dusk til dawn feature that I dont have to manually change as I noted in number 1, above. Make it not smart at all and use standard light switches but get dusk til dawn bulbs for $8 a piece.
I dont want to manually have to change it. Not sure if the Wink2 has a feature for knowing when sunrise and sunset is. Get two smart switches (one for the two garage lights and the other for the front door light).
I'd like some recommendations, but here are a few thoughts: The outside of my house is just so dark if the motion security light isn't tripped. I only want dusk til dawn since I already have a motion sensor security light in my backyard. I'd like to get two outside lights for my detached garage, and then one light for my house's front entrance. I have a Wink 2 Hub (Wink app on Android), ecobee4, and Smart Life app.
